Join Carole and John as we explore “a new route to us” to the top of Mara Mt and it’s “spirit tree”.
Expect to find ticks, mud, snow, ice and 600 metres of elevation gain over about 12 km.

We will be leaving the trail to try and find the best suitable route to the top for the conditions.

Expect the unexpected.

Leaders reserve the right to assess participants fitness for this hike.

As there will be some off trail sections, it is expected that all participants will remain together as a group for the duration of the event.

So,,,,, this should be a great hike for early spring, weather cooperating.

We will meet at Brock Shop at 9:30, carpooling, $2 – $3, then proceed to the trailhead.
The trail will begin across the tracks at Tranquille.

Be prepared, bring your ten essentials, camera, lunch, water, hiking poles and smiles.
