Description
A loop
route on lesser-known trails
- Meet at the Batchelor Hills meetup area at 9:30
- Carpool/convoy to the trailhead at Lac du Bois
- Hike to the Wheeler Mountain Road > Wheeler Pond > side track down to Hanging Valley > Lac du Bois
- We will need to stick together since the route is known to the leader, but no one else (as far as I know)
- Article – Wheeler Loop
- Dress for the weather
- Bring traction devices if the conditions may be slippery
- The section from Wheeler Pond to Hanging Valley is a combination of double tracks, single tracks, and off trail routes. There may be fallen trees and we may have to cross one fence.
- If the weather is poor, the hike will be rescheduled for later in the week, hopefully
- to be updated, as needed
