Description
A one-way hike using a two-vehicle system
- meet at Brock Dog Park to carpool and organize vehicles
- drive to the parking area/trailhead at the north side of the Pimple
- hike to the top of the Pimple (0.5 km)
- hike mostly downhill along the Tranquille Ridge (all off trail)
- a scenic route

- hike right down to the west side of the Tranquille River and then cross at the bridge
- finish at the parking area for the Tranquille River Trail (shuttle the drivers back to the parking area)
- ticks will be out so take precautions
- dogs ok, but cactus may be a problem
- good boots recommended and hiking poles will help
- hikers need to be comfortable with off-trail hiking – uneven footing, loose material, working around obstacles, etc.
