Description

– cancelled due to extreme heat forecast

As this is the longest day of the year we will stay out and play until the sun goes down.   Meet up at Kenna Cartwright main entrance at 1900 and we will wander up the trails to the One Tree Hill viewpoint.    Bring a drink and snack and we will spend time up there watching the sun go down.   Then we will return the same way and get down by 9.30 before the gate closes.   Bring a headlamp just in case the light is dim.

This hike will not run in adverse weather – keep an eye on the website.

This hike is open to any members and will not be a fast paced outing.   It is only about 4 km to the lookout, with some hills, maybe some mud, and no doubt some bugs.
