Description

Skmana Ski and Snowshoe Club is having an open house on Saturday, February 15th.

Carole and I have volunteered to lead a snowshoe event for the Skmana Club beginning from the parking lot.

This “will not” be a sanctioned club event, but an opportunity for anyone interested to join in the open house at Skmana.

They will be offering snowshoe tours at 12:00 and 2:00pm on Saturday, I will be leading a group at 12:00.

If you are interested in joining me, meet at the Skmana parking lot 10 minutes prior to 12:00.

Skmana is situated about 20 minutes north of Chase on the Loakin Bear Creek Rd. this can be found using Google Maps. (any questions for dirrections, contact me at johnmoslin@hotmail.com

The snowshoe route will be determined by the group that shows up.

The warming hut will be open with the fire on for people to have their lunch or snack.

    Just a quick update for all our members We have been experiencing some recent issues with the Kamloops hiking club website, the website team and board are very aware of the frustration that everyone is experiencing. We are also having some issues with posting, signing up and cancelling for individual events. A good website helps enable leaders and hikers to coordinate events.     Greetings all and welcome to a new club year! Board Updates Board Meeting was held on February 19, 2024.  The minutes are posted on the website under Club Info/Meeting Minutes page. 2024/2025 Membership Registration is currently underway.  Membership Renewals started February 1st and new membership started on March 1st.
