We will meet at Brock shopping centre at 0900 to carpool to the trailhead.   We will hike up the Dewdrop trail,  across Red Plateau to the high point then come down the steep gully back to the bottom.   We will then cross the 4×4 road and follow the lower trails back to the car.   We will not do a car shuttle as we will turn around at any point that the weather looks really threatening re. thunderstorms.

This is a lovely but strenuous scenic loop and is a good workout with an easy finish.   Good hiking boots and poles recommended.   No water on the route so bring plenty.

I have been retired for several years now and enjoy many activities in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, skiing, backpacking. I have lived in Canada for the last 35 years and spent a great deal of time exploring the Rockies, K-country, Kootenays and parts of BC.

I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
