Description
We will be exploring Opax Mountain which may involve some route finding. The first couple km’s are flat and then the trail switchbacks up an old double track road. This is a climb, but we will be taking our time. Once at the top we will be exploring the area, looking for the viewpoint of the Red Lake Road area (this is where the route finding will come in as I have only been to the lookout once)
Time and distances are approximate depending on how much exploring we do.
This will be at a slow pace, with lots of breaks. We will be staying together as a group, only going as fast as the slowest participant.
Bring lunch, water and dress for the conditions.
3 dogs maximum, please comment if you are bringing your dog.
We will meet at the Bachelor Hills cattle guard for 9 am, leaving by 9:15 am
