Description
This hike will be an arduous, lengthy climb that will provide terrific bounties of views across the Skimikin Valley, Skimikin Lake, Shuswap Lake and neighbouring bluffs and peaks. The Mt. Hilliam trail system is network of old back roads. This event being an exploratory harder hike, we will have a low number of experienced hikers. Bring a lunch and water. Please make sure to check out the 10 essentials in your packs. Height gain: 527 meters / High point: 1090 meters.
I have been a member of the hiking club since 2016. I have a passion for the outdoors.I love hiking, backpacking, trail running, kayaking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Reaching the top of a mountain is an impressive physical, mental, and emotional accomplishment.My hiking preference is moderate to strenuous.I enjoy the challenge of longer and steeper slopes.I also appreciate a leisure walk and easy hiking in nature with minimal elevation gain and few obstacles.Make sure to read the description of my event postings to find out the degree of difficulties.
