Description
This will be a recreational hike & SUP paddle at McConnel Lake with a snack/lunch break on grass area.
- We will meet up at the lake at 9:30am and will do the hike first and will then prep and launch our SUPs and paddle or float on the lake for about an 1.5 hrs
- We will try to keep together as a group and will loop the lake with our SUPs which sometimes gets windy.
- You are welcome to join and just float/relax on your SUP as long as you have a buddy join you.
- Bring a lunch & chair and whatever else you like while out hiking and SUPing.
- All participants should have all their hiking essentials and required safety equipment for their SUP and should review the Paddling web page before signing up for the event.

I moved to Kamloops in 1994 and joined KHC in 2020. I recently retired and enjoy the following outdoor activities:cross country skiing, snow shoeing , kayaking, hiking and biking. I get out several times a week either with the club or family. I will lead outings throughout the year. Pace will be moderate and steady.
