Description
- Meet at Aviation Way dog park at 10:00
- This will be led by John and Carole Moslin, this will be a new hike to most members, I have been with the KHC for 13 years and never did this hike until I was solo exploring last autumn.
- We will be on the trail for 3.5 to 4 hours, it will be about 10 km, with about 300 metres of elevation gain, this trail would be classified as moderate difficulty and the pace will be moderate/slow.
- The trail begins at the Mara Loop trailhead, we will be in areas where ticks will be present. The pace will be moderate/slow allowing time to enjoy your surroundings and take photos, we will stop for lunch at the viewpoint allowing plenty of time for people to do some exploring and taking photos.
- Dress for the conditions, bring your hiking essentials, poles if desired, bring your lunch, water, tea, or coffee, and your camera.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
