SUMMARY:Mara - Mid Mountain Hike
DESCRIPTION:\n 	Meet at Aviation Way dog park at 10:00\n 	This will be led 
 by John and Carole Moslin\, this will be a new hike to most members\, I ha
 ve been with the KHC for 13 years and never did this hike until I was solo
  exploring last autumn.\n 	We will be on the trail for 3.5 to 4 hours\, it
  will be about 10 km\, with about 300 metres of elevation gain\, this trai
 l would be classified as moderate difficulty and the pace will be moderate
 /slow.\n 	The trail begins at the Mara Loop trailhead\, we will be in area
 s where ticks will be present. The pace will be moderate/slow allowing tim
 e to enjoy your surroundings and take photos\, we will stop for lunch at t
 he viewpoint allowing plenty of time for people to do some exploring and t
 aking photos.\n 	Dress for the conditions\, bring your hiking essentials\,
  poles if desired\, bring your lunch\, water\, tea\, or coffee\, and your
