Description

This is a beautiful relatively easy to moderate undulating trail through some superb alpine meadows. The hike is 20 km long with an elevation gain of 554 metres to the Jade Lake lookout. This distance includes side trips to Eva and Miller lakes.

The trail starts at the top of the Meadows In the Sky parkway at Revelstoke.   It is quite possible that this trail will still be snowed in at this time of year, there could be lingering snow (gaiters), and muddy areas.   Bugs will also probably be out.

We will meet to leave Market Fresh (parked cars are to be parked at the entry to golf course) at 07:00 am to carpool and meeting the leaders at the Chase Petro Can, and if you choose to carpool please be prepared to pay your driver fairly.   This could be a late finish getting home, it’s a long drive and hike.

We will hike as a group keeping together along the trail. Dress for alpine conditions, bring your hiking essentials, poles, gaiters, lunch, coffee and camera and a smile.
