Description
A session for novice paddlers or experienced paddlers in the Aquatics Center
- how to get in and out of a kayak or canoe
- paddling strokes
- rescue techniques (assisted)
- self-rescue opportunities for those who are ready to try
- hosted by Thompson Rivers Interior Sports Club in partnership with KHC
- a Guest Fee of $10 will be required
- KHC can find out more about TRIPS at http://kamloopspaddlers.net
- boats provided (although you can bring your own too)
- you can use a TRIPS pfd or use your own
- you can bring your own paddle or use one of TRIPS
