Description
We will meet at the Ord Road dog park at 0945 to make the short carpool to the trailhead.
We will hike the lower ridges in the Dewdrop area on the south side of the road. It will mainly be off trail and in bush and grass so wear long pants and/or gaiters to deter ticks. The route is rolling hills with good views over Kamloops lake and surround. There will be mud patches and snow/ice patches so you may wish to bring icers although there is more grass and mud than ice. Poles would be a definite asset. We will stop for lunch at some point before looping around back to the cars.
$3 gas contribution suggested should you choose to carpool; bring bags to cover your muddy boots or another pair of shoes to wear on the return journey.

I have been retired for several years now and enjoy many activities in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, skiing, backpacking. I have lived in Canada for the last 35 years and spent a great deal of time exploring the Rockies, K-country, Kootenays and parts of BC.
I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
