Description
Join Carole and John as we hike off trail to Battle Bluff above Kamloops Lake. Weather forecast looks awesome for this Saturday, if you feel there may be icy sections, bring your cleats. We will meet at the Aviation Way dog park at 9;50, departing by 10:00. We will caravan to the first parking along Fredrick Road. There will be some great views above Kamloops Lake with views east towards Kamloops. Bring your hiking essentials, dress for the conditions, bring your lunch, camera, etc, lunch on top off Battle Bluff (it can be windy at the top)

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
