Description

This a great view hike in our local area.   If the weather co-operates we will have good conditions on the trails and views over the city and Yellowhead highway.   If we have snow/rain or inclement weather this will not run as it is fairly exposed to the wind and weather.    We are getting late in the hiking season so let’s see what happens.

There are many trails and routes up in this area with a few steep hills (which may be muddy) and we will do a route up along some scenic ridges at a steady pace, hopefully with some nice enough weather to find a sheltered spot to have a leisurely lunch, and back to our cars in 3-4 hours.

Should be a good day out with a risk of exercise and exertion to make a coffee break with goodies well deserved, so will plan a coffee stop at Red Beard afterwards to warm up and replace those used up calories.
