The Ramblers organize outdoor events, open to all KHC Members
- Most events start at a meetup spot or at a trailhead at 9:30. An option is to carpool or convoy to the trailhead.
- Routes vary from week to week and according to seasonal conditions.
- Most events have one route leader but there will be others to help as needed. It will be at a moderate pace, suitable for all.
- Stops for photos and/or to appreciate nature is likely.
- No limits to numbers. The group will accommodate all, as needed (currently listed as 20, but the limit is flexible). We may split into 2 groups, if needed.
- Watch the event listing for updates since conditions may change. Note – The cancellation deadline for a booking is set to one hour before the meetup time.
- The Ramblers group organizes low-key outings and attempts to provide a positive experience for all participants.
- More details to be added to each event, especially closer to the event. Registration to open about 3-4 days out.
- If there is no interest in the event, the event listing will be deleted, to free up that time for the organizers. Events are mostly for Wednesday mornings, but we will adjust the frequency based on interest. Individual leaders may also choose to offer events on their own.
