Aug. 26 – The website was restructured and remade with a new version of PHP, a new theme, updated plugins, and new widgets, menus, and layout. There are still some items to work on, but the core is ready for use by members.
Sept. 2 – Some revisions to the site layout, colors, and functions. Getting all the various parts working is a try it and test it process.
Sept. 15 – Some widgets, pages, and feeds tweaked. Locations are now adjusting properly in the widgets. Some new locations added. Most on the work on Locations will be done over the winter.
Retired now, I get into the outdoors most days to hike, paddle, camp, snowshoe, run, walk, or explore. More information can be found at: KamloopsTrails.net.

I definitely prefer the old version. The old version is easier on the eyes and not so harsh. Colours in old version were excellent and made for easy reading.
The new version in my opinion is basically …UGLY.
The old version had to go because there were a number of technical issues concerning PHP versions, themes, plugins, and the newest version of WordPress so it needed to be reconstructed from scratch, a big job for any volunteer. The new install can be adjusted to soften the colors and contrasts, as time permits, but functionality comes first. Thanks for the feedback.
Personally, I love the bright, new, fresh, minimalist look of the new version. Nice work!
