A few minor changes are now in place and some more are pending.

Event Template

• In an event listing we used a set template for all hike leaders.    It has been revised to update the various fields.

Event Categories

• A new category – Wanderings – now visible in a widget on the left.
• Information on all categories including Wanderings is found on the Event Categories page.    A link is provided in the second widget on the left or in the Menu bar under Upcoming Events.
• Two older categories have been removed.

YouTube

• KHC Videos are now featured on a website page.

Notifications

• Members had the option of signing up for a notification service when a new event was published.    In the new KHC year (Mar. 1) all members will receive the email notices.

Your KHC Account

• Your bookings and the cancellation page are now available under Your KHC Account on the Menu Bar.
• You can now update your profile, change your email, etc.   on the Your KHC Account page.

Hike Leaders’ Page

• All hike leaders key tools are now available on the new page.    This page is only visible to hike leaders.

Milestones

• A list of KHC milestones is now visible on the right side in a widget.
• When the membership phase is over this widget will be removed.
• A button/link for renewing members will be at the top right side of the sidebar during the renewals period (Feb. 1 – 28).
• A button/link for new members will be at the top right side of the sidebar from Feb. 15 to the membership cap date.

Website Pages

• Relevant pages have been updated to reflect pandemic policies and current practices.
