Safer Practices in a Time of Infection Risk
With the threat of the Covid-19 virus, some ideas on avoiding contact include:
- Do not encourage carpooling.
- If the decision to carpool is made, then sanitizer and masks may be prudent.
- Do not share water bottles.
- Anyone who may be infectious should not join a hike.
- Avoid physical contact
- Carry a handkerchief to cough or sneeze into.
- Do not schedule social events.
- Hike in smaller groups.
- Practice Social Distancing
