All notifications are optional.    There are several types available:

Newsletter/Post Notification

• On the right side of the website at the bottom is a widget that allows anyone to subscribe to the website posts by email.
• You can unsubcribe too by clicking the link that is sent to your email.

New Event Published Notification

• We are using a third party plugin to provide this service so email addresses have to be added manually.
• When a new event is published, an email is sent to everyone on the list.
• To be added or removed from the list, send an email to khc@kamloopshikingclub.net and the webmaster will add or remove you, as requested.
• This is done on volunteer time, but normally is done within 24 hours.

Event Comments Notitication

• Similar to the new event notification, we have to add email addresses manually.
• At this point all hike leaders receive the notification for their events.

Notifications

• Notifications for any function can be turned off or back on at any time, if needed.
• If a member does not rejoin KHC, the email address is removed in spring, as time permits.
