On every event listing is a link to a Trail/Location page for that location.   These pages have maps, access information, images, and links to past events.    This information is useful to members and to hike leaders.   There are 260 pages of information, the equivalent of a book.    Members can click on the Location/Trail link on any posted event or the whole list of pages can be accessed from the Trails/Locations page found under the Upcoming Events heading.    Here is a link from this post.

In this last editing of the 260 pages (3 weeks of work to complete the process), the following updates were added:

• Past events at the location are now listed in a simple list.
• Photo galleries are configured in a more compact manner, providing better load times and more efficient use of website bandwith.
• Galleries were edited to remove duplications and blurry photos.   Some new images were also added,
• The overall page structure was simplified.
• Additional trailhead access information was added.
• New maps were added to many of the pages.
• Additional links to resources were added (ie Shuswap Trails, All Trails, Trailforks, and others)
• Where one trailhead had multiple routes and possible hikes (the Pimple, Lac du Bois, Zopkios Rest Area, etc.), additional pages were added with links back to the trailhead page.
• GPS track links were removed from the pages.    A new page will be created listing all the GPS tracks available, accessible only to member.    This is a work in progress.
• GPS tracks and maps were removed because Google Maps has changed their use policies.   Other mapping services could be used, but the demand is low for the work involved.   Anyone with an All Trails account can download track files and maps.    There is no point duplicating the service.
• General editing of all pages to remove typos, code mistakes, and formatting issues.

Updates to these pages happens every 2 -3 years so no further updates are planned, except for corrections to individual items when found.
