Event Tags are descriptors used to quickly explain characteristics of an event.    They now appear on the event page (if the hike leader has added any).   They also now appear in the main events widget on the left side.

Examples can be seen for Tuesday Trails and for Wednesday Rambles.  As hike leaders learn how to add these, they will appear on most events.

For Hike Leaders:

• Edit your event
• Go to the right side to the Event Tags widget and add any, following the directions provided,
• Update your event listing.

Commonly used event tags can be defined and links can be added to a page where descriptions of the terms are listed.   This is not yet fully set up, but we could if that would be helpful.    Baby steps for now.
