Some short items:

• Tick season is still here, but not as problematic as earlier.
• Mosquitoes are now out in some areas.
• Bear spray is a good option for hiking in the forest for the next 4 months.
• Extra hydration is more important right now.
• Our best wished to Ray Conway for a quick recovery.

• A reminder to all members that we have a Scent Policy.   When we hike on a single track, scents waft to everyone behind and when we are climbing a hill, we don’t need that challenge too.
