If we go for a hike in the grasslands in late summer, the various grass seeds like thread-and-needle grass, grass, stickseeds, burrs, and similar seeds and burrs will stick in your boots and socks. The solution is to wear gaiters and long pants. Getting all the grass, seeds, and burrs out of your socks and shoes can be time-consuming, so try it next time you head out.
