Membership Registration for 2023/2024
Kamloops Hiking Club invites you to renew your membership for 2023/24.
2023/2024 Membership Registration:
- Membership Renewals (for current members) started Feb. 1st, 2023.
- Registration for New Memberships started Feb. 15th, 2023.
- Membership will cap at 200 members.
- KHC Annual Memberships for 2023 will be from March 1st, 2023 to Feb. 28, 2024.
Some exciting events planned for the coming year:
- KHC Photo contest leading to creating a KHC Calendar
- Potluck Socials with music, member slideshows of adventures
- Seminars on hiking essentials, backpacking, wildlife safety, etc.
- Trail maintenance for the KHC adopt a trail
The club runs on volunteers. The amount of hikes/events we can offer depends on the number of members we have offering their time leading hikes. KHC greatly appreciates member who is able to offer time to lead a hike. We are able to provide you with mentorship and support if you would like to lead events. The commitment may look like one hike a week or a month. It’s as easy as beginning with one hike you are familiar with. Consider the buddy system and lead with a friend!
