- Hunting season has started so it is would be best to take additional caution in the backcountry.  Here is an article on Hiking in Hunting Season.
- Outdoor Recreation Council of B.C.’s most recent newsletter.
- Our best wishes to Michelle Dressler on her move to Saskatchewan.  She will be missed.
- Lake Louise has become so busy that Parks Canada now restricts access at peak times and runs shuttle buses.  More information here.
- Over the upcoming winter we will be adding track files for most of our hikes, available to members as a download.   We will also add a Help Page on how to download and use track files.  Members will also be able to upload track files for sharing with other members.    All of this will be done by the webmaster once the weather turns cold as a service to KHC members.
