- Happy Mothers Day to all of our members.
- The Kamloops Thompson Trails Alliance (we are members) has a work party at Isobel Lake on May 26th at 9:00. More details on a Facebook Event notice at this link.  If you can help, contact Al Michel at alandbonniemichel@gmail.com or 250 851 3669.
- The Grand Opening of the Isobel Lake Low Mobility Trail is June 1st.
- Thanks to Michelle Dressler for organizing a series of hikes for new members.
- Two backpacks and one camp start in the next week, organized by Ray Conway, Katherine Roberts, Sam Chow, and Paulette Gendron.  We hope for good weather for their travels to the Monashees, the Stein Valley, and the West Kootenays.
- The first paddling outing is tomorrow.  The weather forecast looks good for recreational paddling on Paul Lake.
- KHC can host paddling, cycling, trail running, mountain biking, and nordic skiing, but they only happen when a leader comes forward to organize an event.
- With the warm weather, it is important for all participants to remember to fully hydrate on hikes. Here are some Hot Weather Hiking Tips.
