KHChronicles –

• Our thanks to the hike leaders who led events in July – Paulette Gendron, Tom Blackburn,  Judy Karr, John and Carole Moslin, Lisa Boutry, Gerry Hoye, Sam Chow, Sasha Lees,  Doug Smith, Wendy Kineshanko, and Sheila Powell.
• Many of the core group of our KHC leaders are away on backpacks or holidays for July and August so there will be less single-day events.
• Summer is the time when we attempt the harder/longer/higher routes so difficulty level of events is increased.   This will change in the fall.

• The winner of the KHC draw for hike leaders in July was Judy Karr.
• A slideshow is inserted into this newsletter.   If you have received this by email subscription you can see the slideshow using this link – KHC – June and July 2019
• Some updates to the website resulted in a “crash” for a couple of hours recently, but the site is back up and running now.   Some major work will be required by the webmaster over the winter to upgrade a number of the “building blocks.”
• Newsletters will be published once a month. Announcements and short news item will be posted in the widgets on the right side of the website between newsletters. The header image for the newsletter will change several times each month.
