• Many KHC hikes through the summer months are out-of-town.   With so many hike leaders climbing mountains around the province, there will be fewer hikes in town.
• Be sure to check Drive BC and the BC Wildfire Center before venturing to hikes across the province.  Links are provided in a widget on the right side.
• The Summer Series hikes are not on the list of upcoming hikes, but each one will appear about 7 days out from the actual date, enabled for leader registration.
• KHC is recruiting new hike leaders.   If you are interested, please contact us – khc@kamloopshikingclub.net
• KHC has registered in the City of Kamloops Adopt-a-Trail Program.   We have selected a trail loop in the Valleyview Nature Trails and we will lead a hike carrying garbage bags with us on the trails twice a year.   The first day will be in the fall.
