KHC Newsletter – January 27, 2019
KHChirps
- Current KHC members can start the renewals process starting on February 1st.  A labelled button (on the right side of the website homepage) can be clicked to take you to the renewals page.  A new waiver and payment of fees are both required to complete the process.  User accounts to the website will remain active in February.  On March 1st, non-renewed memberships will have website accounts frozen (can’t log in).    When you complete the waiver, you will receive an email to confirm the accuracy of the email address.  You will need to click a link in that email to complete the process of submitting your waiver.     You must also be logged in to see the button or the renewals page.  Non-members cannot join the club in February so the login prevents that activity.
- This is also a good time to update your profile to make sure your email, your contact information, and your emergency contact information is accurate.    Here is a website help link.
- New Member renewals are scheduled to start in March.
- Our Annual General Meeting will be March 24th at Barnhartvale Hall.  Details are posted on the website.
- Two special events are posted on the website- a Farewell Dinner (for Louise Sawchuck) and a Memorial Hike (for Clive Giolma)
- Here are Kamloops Thompson Trails Alliance’s AGM Minutes – KAMLOOPS THOMPSON TRAILS ALLIANCE dec 2018 AGM final
- Our thanks to the hike leaders who have led events in February – Deana Rice, Lois and Ted Hunter, John and Carole Moslin, Doug Smith, Katherine Roberts, Jeremy Markel, Sam Chow, Gerry Hoye, Judy Karr, Ernie Carson, and Paulette Gendron.
- An added feature to the website available to logged-in members only are many pages of trail information. These include some driving directions, some notes, a map, a GPS map, a track download, and images that can be used for event listings or for members who are interested in seeing some trail photos. Much of the information is not visible to the public. We make this choice so that the information is a benefit of being a member. Each page takes time to develop, so a few will be added each week. The next 10 are provided below as links.
