• Smoky conditions have placed a hold on a number of proposed events.   When the air clears, both leaders and club members will look ahead to more hiking opportunities.
• A revised Guest Policy has been drafted for review by members.   It can be viewed on the website by following this link.   Feedback is appreciated.
• Michelle Dressler has added a short article on the Happy Hikers, now published to the website as a Blog.   It can be seen on the right side widget.    Here is a link also.
• KHC has also adopted a trail,  with a first hike-cleanup event planned for September on the Valleyview Nature Trails.   The event will be posted on the website once a date has been selected.
• For members who may be interested in the wildflowers we see along the trail, a sharing site can be found at Kamloops Wildflower Project on Facebook.
