Description

Because of poor driving conditions and fresh snow, we will shift to Plan B.

  • meet at 10:00 at the Hillside Drive meet-up
  • carpool to Six Mile
  • Hike in the hills for 7.8 km with lunch along the way
  • a scenic route

  • if this hike doesn’t interest you, just cancel
  • I hope to reschedule Zoa for another day in October

 

For another day:

A hike up Zoa Peak in the Coquihalla Summit area to enjoy fall colors and the rugged vistas of the area.

  • listed as draft for now, but will be enabled for registration about 6 days before the posted date
  • carpool at the Hillside Drive parking area at 8:30
  • drive to the Falls Lake parking area (1.5 hours/160 km  each way)
  • hike up the Zoa Trail –  4km each way
  •  lunch on top; bring wind protection
  • article – Zoa Peak Ramble (please review before registering)
  • dress for the conditions
  • a scenic route
  • this is a group hike so we will stay together
  • If the weather is marginal, an update to this listing will be posted the day before
  • if it will be rainy I will cancel, but if it is a chance of rain, we can go for a local hike instead
