Description

A favorite hike in the Marble Range

  • all registration is done by contacting the hike leader
  • this is a remote area, but I have done this hike a few times
  • some of us are camping nearby so we will meet anyone coming from Kamloops at the turnoff (I will provide you with driving directions)
  • The Jesmond Road is a good road suitable for all vehicles, but the side road is a high clearance so that may mean an extra 1km hike for anyone not in a suitable vehicle
  • Since we don’t organize carpooling during the epidemic, hikers have to either drive their own vehicle or make their own arrangements for sharing (ie if you don’t have high clearance and won’t connect with someone else who does, then this hike is not for you)
  • this is the best hike in the entire area
  • we will decide the turn-around point that day
  • article on the last time we did this trail – Wild Horse Ridge Ramble
  • Some of us are camping nearby (at Big Bar Lake) so will meet anyone driving from Kamloops at the trailhead turn-off at a designated time (we will provide driving directions)
  • Contact the hike leader if you are interested. (first places go to anyone who books a campsite).   We can take up to 12 members, broken into 2 hiking groups.
