Description
A ramble with KHC, this time on Wheeler Mountain
- meet at the Batchelor Hills meetup at 8:30 am (meetup spots – more info at this link)
- carpool or convoy to Lac du Bois
- Hike the Upper Grasslands Track, then the Wheeler Mountain Road, then the summit track, an out-and-back route of about 13 km
- lunch at the viewpoint
- bring adequate water, a lunch, good footwear, a first aid kit, weather protection, etc.
- a low-key hike to a remote spot with lots of forest along the way

Some Notes:
- stay together for safety
- there will be some short stops for photos/videos/nature appreciation/observation
- although it is an easier hiking route, it is longer and has a good climb, so fitness is needed
- if there is little interest, the event will be withdrawn
