Description
A hike from the south to the top of a set of bluffs overlooking Tranquille Canyon
- meet at the Ord Road Meetup spot at 10:00 am
- carpool to the trailhead (at the Mara Trail start)
- hike up the double track to Pruden Pass, then turn up the Wheeler Mountain track for less than 1 km
- hike out to the viewpoint for the view and lunch
- a bit of exploration along the top of the bluffs
- return by the same route
- dress for the conditions
- if there is snow wear good boots and gaiters; bring traction devices if you have them
