Meet-up spot is at the Westsyde Centennial Park by the Animal Zoo. We will carpool and drive to the trailhead.

Hiking at a moderate/slower pace approximately 6 km on a well defined trail with lots of climbing and a few steeper inclines (300 elev. gain or so).  Lots of breath and view breaks and we should be about 2 1/2 hours on the trail. Bring a snack, poles, crampons/cleats, ten essentials (listed under guidelines link), bag for muddy boots and camera. Our hike starts in a hidden deep ravine and ends on Turtle Hump overlooking the valley and Westsyde. This hike may be cancelled if weather turns wintry.
