The plan is to hike up towards Deep Lake and up over the Westside Hills.   A good workout up the hills here, with lovely views over the city and the Yellowhead highway.  We will meet at the Westsyde Coopers parking lot to carpool the short drive to Ida Lane parking area; very limited parking there so we will try to have only two or three cars.

This could be a hot hike and there is very little shade although we could luck out on a good breeze, so bring plenty of water, sunhat and sunscreen.   Doggies are welcome as long as you have water for them.

I will be keeping an eye on the forecast and if it is going to be a really hot day this hike will be cancelled.   Anything above 25C is too hot to be out on those hills!!

I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
