Description
This hike starts at Lac du Bois, then goes down hanging valley and up some old double tracks. There are many turn offs so the group will stay together and will end up at a great viewpoint for lunch. You never know we may find some new routes up there!
Generally uphill on the way out although nothing steep or technical. A really neat local area always well worth exploring. Our loop will take 4-5 hours with a lunch break, and could be up to 15 km return.
We will meet at the Batchelor HiIls meet up spot at 9.30 and carpool from there. No special vehicles required.

I have been retired for several years now and enjoy many activities in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, skiing, backpacking. I have lived in Canada for the last 35 years and spent a great deal of time exploring the Rockies, K-country, Kootenays and parts of BC.
I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
