Description
Carole and I will be hiking the Flume trails, Tsutswecw Park on the east side of Adams River on Sunday February 12th. There is a lot of logging history associated with these trails. We were on the upper trails last Monday, the trails were very icy, cleats will be needed. Super Bowl fans should be home in plenty of time to watch the game. Meet at Valleyview arena at 09:00 to arrange carpooling and to caravan to the trailhead. Carole and I will meet you there. Remember your ice cleats, hiking essentials, lunch, and camera, we should be on the trail for about 3 to 3.5 hours going at a moderate pace, with time to take photos and enjoy the sites having lunch along the trail.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
