Description
With rainy days forecast for much of the rest of the week, I will hike up to the summit ridge of the Trophy Mountains while we still have some good weather
- the finest hike in our area
- although we are not organizing carpooling, participants can make their own arrangements through email.  I will send an email with everyone’s address included to support
- a spot will be guaranteed for everyone who is currently registered for the Clearwater Camp up to Sunday morning, but each person needs to decide and register for this event or not
- meet to convoy at the Wells Gray Info Center (at the turnoff) at 9:00
- convoy to the trailhead
- hike to the rim (7.5 km) with 700m elevation gain
- lunch on top
- return by the same route
- I have done this hike 50X+.  Here is an article on the hike – Trophy Mountain Summit
- a short notice event hike, inserted because of the weather forecast
- I will also post a shorter local hike for mid-week
A short video i made last year:
