A hike into the Trophy Range meadows

• meet at the Clearwater/Wells Gray Travel Center at 9:00
• drive up the corridor, then the Trophy Mountain Road to the trailhead (high clearance)
• hike through the forest to the meadows, then up the ridge to Plateau of the Tarns
• lunch at a high spot before returning past Sheila Lake and back down to the trailhead

• this will be a nature hike with a relaxed pace up and down
• dress for the conditions; mosquitoes will be active
• the snows have melted from the meadows, but there will be patches higher up; there will be some wet spots along the way
• a long day of traveling and hiking, but a memorable one too
