A hike up the south-facing slopes above Tranquille Canyon and across the lower Mara Hills

• the exact route will depend on conditions
• if all is dry, we may hike up to the top of Moby Dick Hill, and we will likely return on the Outer Mara Trail
• a combined route including double tracks, single tracks, and through-the-sagebrush grasslands-routes

• although the south-facing slopes should be dry,  we may find some mud in behind hills or in hollows
• ticks will be out so take the usual precautions
• some uneven footing and some steep sections
• the hike will be between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on the route chosen
