This is a hard hike up the back route to Castle Butte in the Dewdrop Range.  There is a steep ascent to eventually get up to the top of the plateau where we will make our way over to Castle Butte.  Views from Castle Butte to Kamloops Lake and surrounds are excellent.  At Castle Butte, we will take a well deserved lunch break, while admiring the views all around.

Due to steep ascent (and descent), good boots and poles are highly recommended.  This is not a beginners hike.  reasonable good fitness is required.

Meet up at the Airport Way dog park at 10am.
