A walk/hike from the Rivers Trail to the West Beaches and back as a loop route

• I do not do any kind of reserved spots, nor any waiting lists (too much extra work for this old volunteer), so please don’t ask
• Meet at the end of Aviation Way at 10:00 am (no carpooling)

• Hike west, staying with the leader for a specific route past Dale’s Antique Beach, then on a sandbar route around the small island to the end of the West Beaches where we will stop for lunch.
• The return route will be along the Thompson River, then turn up onto a hard-to-spot side trail to return to the Rivers Trail
• Lunch at the west end
• Dress for the conditions
• Bring traction devices for the icy spots. though you may not need them
