Description
Come join us for a hike to the Guardsmen on the Tranquille River.
- Meet at 9:30 at the Aviation Way dog park for carpooling
- The route to Guardsmen is a mix of double tracks and trails with a steep down to the river scramble which could be wet/icy.
- We will have lunch down by the river
- Bring all your essentials & dress for the conditions with good hiking boots & poles.

I have been a member of the hiking club since 2016. I have a passion for the outdoors.I love hiking, backpacking, trail running, kayaking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Reaching the top of a mountain is an impressive physical, mental, and emotional accomplishment.My hiking preference is moderate to strenuous.I enjoy the challenge of longer and steeper slopes.I also appreciate a leisure walk and easy hiking in nature with minimal elevation gain and few obstacles.Make sure to read the description of my event postings to find out the degree of difficulties.
