Description
Come out and enjoy an evening hike along Peterson Creek. This will be a loop, starting at the lower trailhead (under the bridge at the end of Glenfair Drive), going up one side of the canyon along the Tom Moore trail, crossing the creek over to the Billy Miner trails, hiking up to a nice view of the city and working our way back down to the vehicles.
Just over 5km of hiking should take us about 2 hours with rest stops with a 6:30 pm start.
Bring poles, sturdy shoes, and water/snack. Also recommend an extra layer for any rain or when it cools down and a headlamp just in case.
Dogs are allowed on leash (limited of 2 for the group). I will bring my dog Kacie. Please use the comments below to indicate if you will bring your dog. See the KHC dog policy.
