Carole and John will be hiking in Shuswap country on Tuesday, March 19th. We will begin at the Sunnybrae Community Park and hike a short but steep hike to Sunnybrae Bluffs offering great views from the bluffs. After return to the parking lot we will drive about 10 minutes to the Margaret Falls Parking lot. From here it is a short hike on a scenic trail to Margaret Falls. After viewing the falls we will continue to the north Reinecker Trailhead. This will be a moderate loop hike following a trail above Margaret Falls, we recently discovered a side trail to a smaller waterfall on the creek above Reinecker falls. We will follow the main trail which will cross the creek and return to the parking area. We will hike at a moderate pace allowing time to enjoy the vista’s and taking photos, we will stop for a lunch break somewhere along the trail. Dress for the conditions, bring your hiking essentials, poles if you use them. Carole and I will meet at the at Sunnybrae Park at about 10:30.   Kamloops participants can meet at 9:30 at Valleyview Arena to arrange carpooling and then drive to Sunnybrae.
