We will explore some of the 18 hiking trails at this ski resort and will start our day by taking the chairlift up to 6,000 feet and then hike to the alpine via Skunk (an off piste area favoured by skiers in the winter) then through to the Tod mountain summit for stunning vistas and wild flower meadows.   We will then circuit around another trail to return to the chairlift for our ride down.(Ticket prices for the lift are $23 at the window, or about $18.50 on line before the date – summer prices still may change).   We do have a 10% discount with our KHC membership.

This will be a steady hike up into the alpine with some longer climbs and rolling terrain.  There should be a good variety of alpine wildflowers although it is still early season; and there will be plenty of bugs up there too!

Meet up at Paul Lake road parking area at 0900 to car pool to hill.
