Description

This event is to celebrate the longest day of the year.   We will meet at the main parking lot of Kenna Cartwright park and head up to One Tree hill to watch the sun go down.   Then retrace our route down with headlamps.    This will only run if it is a clear weather night – no thunder storms!   Bring water and a snack to have at the top, and extra an extra layer as it will cool down after the sun goes down.   Sunset is scheduled to be at 9.18 pm but we will have to start our return at 9 pm to make sure we get back to the cars before the park closes.

An easy hike to a superb viewpoint over Kamloops lake and the city.   Make sure you have a good working headlamp for the return hike to the cars.
